QSUM charity foundation was established to enhance the welfare of the members, improve the facilities for the students of the University of Moratuwa, and assist the unnoticed needy people in Sri Lanka.

It is a pleasure to inform you that the generous donation and contribution made in 2018 by the QSUM- UAE Chapter, intented for supporting the University students' facilities, has been allocated to renovate the BESS print shop with the purchase of a digital photocopier and two computer machines. This was a fulfillment of a long-time requirement of the students of the Department of Building Economics since the operations of the print shop had been suspended for a considerable period of time due to malfunctioning equipment in the print shop. With this facility, the students are able to print the required documents conveniently and inexpensively.
