Sudath Jayathilake (1969 - 2011) PDF Print E-mail

Sudath Jayathilake We sorrowfully inform you the sudden demise of our beloved colleague Sudath Jayathilake (89/90 Batch) on 7 April 2011 in India. He and his family returned to Sri Lanka last year after working in the United Arab Emirates. He is survived by his wife, Samanthi Menike (89/90 Batch) and three children.

The funeral will be held on Sunday, 10 April 2011 at 4.00pm in Malabe. The location map to his house is attached herewith. His mortal remains are kept for last respects at his residence, in Malabe. Please contact Jagath Amarasena (89/90) if you require any further information.

We express our heartfelt condolences to his wife, Samanthi Menike, his children and his family.

May he attain the supreme bliss of Nibbana!

 
Alfred Noel Marines (1985 - 2011) PDF Print E-mail

noelalfred.jpgWe sorrowfully inform you the sudden demise of our beloved colleague Alfred Noel Marines (2005/06 Batch) on 24 January 2011 in Sri Lanka. He was working in Qatar for a brief period before he became ill.

The funeral will be held on Thursday, 27 January 2011 in Jaffna. His mortal remains will be kept for last respects in AF Raymond, Borella, Colombo on Tuesday, 25 January 2011 and thereafter his remains will be taken to his home in Jaffna on Tuesday night.

Address: Akavai Mariyal, Adaikala Nayaki Road, Uyarappulam, Aanaikooddai, Jaffna.

We express our heartfelt condolences to his family.

Samanthi! we miss you forever PDF Print E-mail

With deepest sorrow and tears from our hearts we pay tribute to our dear sister Samanthi Kanewala of 15th Batch. Words cannot compensate for the sadness and grievance we have over the loss of our friend, Samanthi, but this is a small tribute to our dear friend.

Born to Mr. and Mrs. Kanewala on 28 September 1977 in Wellawatta, Sri Lanka, Samanthi Deepthika Kanewala started her life journey and fondly called as ‘Maddu’ by her family. Her father was a Health Service Director and mother was an English Teacher and due to their commitments at work they were transferred to ‘Galen Bindunu Wewa’ where Samanthi started her primary education. She had to transfer her schools to Gnanodaya Vidyalaya of Kaluthara and then to Madya Maha Vidyalaya of Anuradhapura due to her parents’ work relocations and transfers.
